“If it isn’t in the house, then you can’t eat it.” 👈🏻This is one of my quotes I share with clients, especially families trying to encourage their kids to eat healthily.

🗣No one is immune to junk food if they are a) hungry and b) it’s freely available to you in your house.

So my key solutions are;

🥑 Stop buying junk food and snacks that don’t nourish you and

🥑 Take one hour a week instead to prepare healthy snacks for you and your kids (if you have them).

So, that when you need a quick snack, the choices available to you in your home are those that will nourish your body. 💗

This small bit of “snack” prepping really helps many people feel like they are eating and living better all week long. And that eating healthily isn’t such a chore 😉.

Such a simple act I believe it’s important we as parents teach our kids, as it will help them carry on using these healthy food patterns when they are all grown up and move out of home. 🏡 👦🏽🧒🏼👧👱🏻‍♀️👶
