Plain + Unsweetened Coconut Milk Recipe

Time: 5 minutes

Servings: 4-5 glasses of coconut milk

Ingredients

  • 500 g of organic coconut (shredded)
  • 1 litre of purified hot water (almost boiling)

Additional Items

  • a blender
  • an Amy-Zing 3-in-1 Nut Milk Bag
  • a mixing bowl
  • A glass storage bottle
  • A tall jug

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to mixing bowl, and allow the mixture to sit for 15 minutes once well combined.
  • Then add all the ingredients to the blender and blend on high for 2 minutes.
  • Once the coconut has blended well with the water, take the tall jug and place the Amy-Zing 3-in-1 Nut Milk Bag over the jug (inside out for easy cleaning), with the top of the bag hanging over the lip of the tall jug.
  • Pour the contents of the blender jug into the tall jug, and slowly squeeze the milk out until all that is left is coconut nut pulp and no more milk.
  • Pour the smooth silky coconut milk in the storage bottle, store in the fridge once it has cooled and use within 4 days.
