How To Make The Perfect Poached Eggs:

*Firstly, bring a medium sized pan that is half filled with water and that has 2 table spoons of white wine vinegar added to it, to the boil on the hob over a medium/high heat.

*In the meantime crack an egg and put the egg into a tea cup.

*Once the water looks like it is starting to boil, take a spoon and make a swirling motion in the centre of the water. Quickly take the spoon out and drop the egg in the tea cup in the centre of the “swirling water”.

*Time 3 minutes for soft poached eggs, or 5 minutes for hard poached eggs.

*Serve with some delicious gluten-free bread, or even better some home baked bread, and a dollop of homemade tomato sauce.

This makes a great alternative to “fried eggs” which in my opinion are yuck! I promise you will not want to eat fried eggs again when you get the hang of making poached eggs, especially when you see how much better and mouthwatering these look!
