I realised not so long ago that I used to allow other people to dictate what was right or wrong for my health because they knew better, or had a doctors degree behind their name. This is the same reality for many people around the world too who leave there health decisions in the hands of other more ‘qualified’ people. For me breaking that cycle and educating myself is how I got to have great health. Because no one is more qualified to know what your individual body and mind need – more than you.

So, through what I have learnt along my personal road to wellness I hope to inspire you to take control of your health and achieve your personal wellness goals by living the Great Health Naturally lifestyle.

You are mindful – basically you think about the impact of most things you do and eat before hand. You think about the impact your choices have on the environment around you and others, and the planet in general.

You try to reduce the amount of inorganic food eaten by you and your family. This is known as conventional food and is grown using toxic chemical pesticides, herbicides etc. You are constantly working on improving the amount of organic produce eaten as you see this as a vital need to achieving great health.

If you are not vegetarian (like me) – you try to eat mostly certified organic free range animals at every meal. Because it is important that the animals you eat had a happy and life free of cages before dying for you.

You believe in positivity and love rules all. You believe that what you put out to the universe you get back. So walking around in a negative mood all the time will only draw negative things back on to you because your mind is focusing on only negative. (See what happens when you focus only on positive! Your life will quickly change, I promise!) Also, to be able to love something means you are able to step outside of yourself and stop being selfish. This shows tremendous growth of spirit.

You understand how everything is connected – the health of the planet, its people, its animals, children, to the trees, rivers and the moon… And how we all have a responsibility to ensure that they all stay healthy. You do not pass the problems they may have onto others.

You understand that even one small change you make, makes a big difference to the world we live in. 

You have respect for other peoples feelings and other peoples belongings – and take care of them both like they are precious and fragile.

You do not live on fear – most people find this the hardest. Fear is actually at the bottom of all the problems in the world, and stops anyone doing the things they want, including being (and staying) healthy!

At Great Health Naturally we believe in bringing out the best in people to maximise your life experience. For this you need great health and happiness. So not only can we talk to you about helping you to improve your dietary habits, but we can also consult with you on living a more holistic day to day lifestyle. This could include how you may need to change negative thought patterns, the exercise you need, to cleaning out your toxic cleaning cupboard and replacing it with eco-friendly solutions! Because by improving your health, mental attitude and home environment – you will stay healthier for longer.
