Even if you are not dairy intolerant, or vegan – hopefully this post could inspire you to choose a healthier option to cream to top your fruit or desserts with from time to time.

*** You Will Need ***

  • 1 tin of Waitrose organic full cream coconut milk / or you could try any coconut cream in a tin and store in the fridge for several hours
  • 1 punnet of organic strawberries
  • 1 pinch of organic vanilla powder (optional)

*** How To Make ***

  1. Open the tin of coconut milk from the bottom, and drain the water out.
  2. Wash your strawberries then chop them in half.
  3. Top with the coconut cream left in the coconut milk tin and add a sprinkle of vanilla bean powder.

There you have it, even though it is summer and you live a dairy free lifestyle – does not mean you have to be deprived of the occasional something rich and sweet.
