Found out what I thought of Grove Organic Fruit Co.’s organic orange juice below!
Positive Points
This organic orange juice I recently tried for the first time is manufactured (and they claim to be lovingly handpicked with care) by Grove Organic Fruit Company.
The orange juice is simply delicious! It had a tiny amount of orange ‘bits’, but hardly any on the whole. I really enjoyed this orange juice overall, was really fresh and it tasted really smooth. This orange juice is currently on special at Tesco’s for get two for £4.00, and when they are not on special they are £2.83 each – so this is a fantastic saving of £1.66 at the moment! This is for 1Litre of pure, no other nasties added orange juice – even at full price it makes a great healthy treat in your shopping basket, and a great way to start the day with at breakfast. It is stored in a paper Pure Pack, which I believe at present to be far less toxic than some packaging out there. (I smell another article for another time…) It is also certified organic by the Soil Association, so you know it is really organic!
Negative Points
Obviously £2.83 at the regular price is a little pricey for some people, I guess depending on where you shop currently. But usually the cheaper the juice the more junk is added to it, so I personally would budget in to get such pure, natural juice rather (like this one), instead of one that contains hardly any actual fresh juice for cheap, and will fill your body with toxic chemicals leaving you less healthy as a result. Also, when I was looking around on the shelves next to this juice, I saw that even some other juices that are the same size on the market that are more ‘natural’, but still not organic are almost this price I found. So for some people the regular selling price will be pretty relative.
I am not sure whether this juice has been pasteurised, as it does not say. If so this would mean that all the amazing nutrients this juice started off with (especially those that are heat sensitive), most would have been lost during the high temperatures this process brings.
Overall Rating
Overall, I am going to give this 4/5 leaves on the Great Health Naturally rating chart. Because I really liked this orange juice and my only downside is I hope it has not been pasteurised, but will keep buying this in future as it is organic, and it tastes so good!
